Are intros and outs good for a channel!

Do you think intros and outros are good?

I think outro is more important.. I tend to put my last week's episode in the outro
intro sometimes makes people not finish the vid

Personally, I edit it into the actual video. I don't know if you can do it through Youtube, maybe I'm just silly :)
 
I don't have an intro. I think they can add a lot for branding but I'm a very casual youtuber. It's not really where I'm at. If I had a lot of subscribers I would probably do one.
 
I like intros. It makes it feel like an actual show rather than just done guy playing a game and talking over it. The avgn is a perfect example. I like treating the vgm show like an actual review show and not just a lets play which is why I add an intro to it. For the lets plays I just put a title pic and that be it
 
I feel like if intros are short and sweet, then they are effective. But sometimes it doesn't work for certain channels. Outros are good tho :)
