Anyone used the Shure SM7B?

SM7B needs 60db gain to function properly. Alesis MultiMix 4 has 62db, so you're maxing the interface out just to get an audible signal. Your next upgrade if you want to really take advantage of the mic will be a cloudlifter or triton fethead. Something that adds clean gain to the mix. At it stands, you're using a race car on a back alley road.

nah its cool man i bought all new equipment i got the cloutlifter and the focusrite scarlett 2i4 to power the mic
