Anyone use the Hauppauge HDPVR?

If so, what software do you capture with? I hate the default it ships with because I can't record at 59.97 nor in 1080p. Any help would be great!
 
I just use the regular one, didn't know you could get better results if you used something else owo
I can however, record in 1080p cause I have the gaming edtion.
But I would like to get a higher bitrate than 14k :I
 
I dont know if it'll work with this pvr but you could try xsplit (keep in mind this costs about 15 bucks every 3 months). it works great with my live gamer hd .

btw you should get a different brand than haupagge. they outsource their software and is some of the most slow and buggest stuff i've used. to get updates one must pay like 70$ for the later versions of showbiz :(
 
I have both the PVR 1 and 2 and naturally progressed in quality and use xsplit as my weapon of choice but recently moved over to the Live Gamer HD from AVEr Media and to be honest I can't recommend that enough. World of difference .... What game are you capping BTW ?
