Anyone else DESPERATELY miss video responses?

This feature was perfect for a contest or going beyond the comment section and creating a dialogue through video sharing. The channel owner had an option to review all video responses before they went live. Sure people tried to abuse it, but they were filtered out. I will always be an advocate for community driven features that let people find other channels to watch. Isn't that something we should want? Especially being apart of this type of forum. If you don't own a legacy account, you're probably lost in this whole discussion.

i never got to use one (because i didnt make real, serious videos until about 2 years ago) but i remember then and wish they would come back now :c

I remember it towards the end when there was just a TON of non-relevant video reply spam. Which was a shame. Would be a really cool feature if there was some type of checks and balances.

Now you can add a video url to your comment, but whenever someone does that on my videos YouTube flags the comment as spam.

BRING IT BACK..
really, I miss it quite a lot, Adding your related video to another video, Plus, They don't have to accept the view if they don't like it! It was so easy to get a few more views, It was also good for collabs or like it says, RESPONSE.. Like if you ask a question, or ask for someone else review, They can add the video...
But yeah, I wish it never went.. Why yt, why..

Back when they were on Youtube it was so much easier to get your video out. It's basically like commenting "Hey check out my video" without the spam. It's just there. And as long as you had put it on the right videos, (Relativity, about 10,000 views, etc.) you would ACTUALLY see results from it. I had the chance to do it with one video and it is my most viewed video to date with I think around 3,500 views. And all I did was video response it to 3 or 4 relevant videos. Keep in mind I only had around 10 subs then too. I remember Google said that "nobody uses them". Silly Google. There are still other ways of posting your videos to places but THAT was definitely the best option back then.

Who else remembers/used them?
I never used them but I wanted to. My friends and I were going to do this "video response series" but then they disabled them. :(

I do remember that on my old, old channel back in 2007, I only made one video response, and that one actually got some of the most views I ever received on that channel, haha.

I do miss them. Whenever a YouTuber asks for video responses, they have to search thru their comments instead of a separate page just for responses. It also made it easier for the viewers to get to the responses.
