Anyone else DESPERATELY miss video responses?

I wish videos responses was still here because i would use that feature a lot to get views and subscribers that would of been great! :)

A shame when you post a video link in a comment it comes up as spam! :(

I don't know why Youtube got rid the video response feature.


PLEASE BRING BACK VIDEO RESPONSES YOUTUBE!!
 
Well only 3% of people used it... It got dump because of that ;)
I don't like having ad for other channel in the comment, video response were worse to me... I'm glad it doesn't exist anymore !

Youtube has changed a lot since it launched(mostly for the worst) i don't remember video response back then because i didn't know youtube existed back then but it sounds like it was much better back then instead of now.

You are correct that video responses were hardly used. They had a click-thru rate of .0004%. That is only 4 clicks per million impressions.

Creators can still post their video responses in the form of a link to the video. It is up to the channel owner to allow them or not. Even in this thread, you can see that people were using the function to promote attention to their own content rather than engaging the owner of the channel.[DOUBLEPOST=1427747872,1427747825][/DOUBLEPOST]

YouTube is so much better now and has a huge audience compared to back then.
 
I think the real problem was that YouTube allowed them to be unmoderated and then moved them to a place where nobody saw them. I had some that were made according to the main video content and they brought me some nice traffic. So I indeed miss video responses but probably not in the way they were implemented.
 
I miss the feature also. I made a lot of video responses that managed to help me get a lot of views starting out.

But some channels that had open video responses were full of unrelated videos.

I remember seeing the same Call Of Duty, Minecraft gaming videos, and a creepy guy dancing in his underwear in alot of the Video Responses on Youtube.

But this new links in the comments aren't working neither.
