Ye, that's exacly what i thought. scalelab dot com, creators Tab. I'll tell u how it;s going.

24 months contract (if u wanna end you have to write month before or them will make it longer), U have to earn 100$ to get paid - they have time 30 days after end of each month, it get's like 70% for you, 25% for'em and 5% for some payments like money transfer fee etc. . And they also have a ritghts for selling your vids

i contacted them to see what kind of offers they deal with. my channel has less then 50 subs so looks like they are accepting anybody.[DOUBLEPOST=1380753998,1380736272][/DOUBLEPOST]Does this sound like a good deal? they sent me their contract and reviewed it and it was pretty much what someone above me said ti was. seems odd they would accept me when i dont even have 50 views, seems suspicious!

At your level, you shouldn't be monetizing. Ads drive potential viewers away from your channel and when your channel is small, you shouldn't be driving potential subscribers away. I would recommend avoiding monetization/partnership until your monthly view average is at least 100x what is it now.

I'm glad I found this forum. I received the exact same message except it was from someone named Amy with Celiac Disease who said she was in charge of starting a gluten free community on YouTube. When I responded to her I received an email back from Maximilian stating that "Erika" had reached out to me. Strange. I agree that I probably won't do anything for now. I don't have many subscribers yet and there is no reason yet for monetization. Thanks everyone for your feedback!

Yeah, I ended up turning them down.

I use both interchangeably (as in essence, they could be the same since "speed" is fairly ambiguous) but I know they're different (like the meaning you described).

I wouldn't judge you for being Chinese, don't worry. Your English is really good :)
I turned them down since I'm wary of them given how they're reaching out to such a wide range of people (and copy/pasting the same messages), not to mention they seem so new and have no reviews. My channel is so small that it's not really worth networking at the moment anyway.
Same here. I really suspicious why they can have so many similar youtube account with a no reviews on their videos.
By the way, I love your painting work. Painting is the exact skill that I lack of(I mess up every drawing if I try to paint it), perhaps we can find a way to work together someday? Haha.

Maybe after they've been around for a while and have more feedback and such.
Aww, thank you so much x3 It's all practice, trial and error, experimentation, etc. If there are any specific ways I do something that you want me to do a tutorial or something on, let me know :) I wouldn't mind doing something together one day :D

"To:The Jousting Life YouTube Channel
Hi,
Love your YouTube channel. I'm a big jousting fan - especially with the new TV show 'Full Metal Jousting' on the History Channel finally giving Jousting the respect that it is due.
My name is Edgar and I work at ScaleLab (...), which is a Multi-Channel Network on YouTube. My job is to find the best channels for our Jousting YouTube community.
Here's the summary:
• ScaleLab has created the only YouTube community with a focus on Jousting.
• We'd love for you to be a Community Leader, which means you'll have a prominent place among all other Jousting channels in our network -- and other channels will look to you to set the standard for great content.
• It's not a paying gig. ☺ It's more of a prestige thing, but it will definitely increase your video views and subscribers.
There are a bunch more benefits that come from being a member of ScaleLab (increased views & subscribers, access to production financing, etc.). If you like, you can read about that stuff on the website (...).
Ok, my job is done! If this sounds interesting, you can sign up on our website, or you can call me at +1 (424) 253-1555. Happy to answer any questions you have.
Best,
Edgar Pulido
ScaleLab Network"

I got this letter today. Obviously, they have now replaced "Speed Drawing" and "French" with "Jousting". Searched for ScaleLab online and found this discussion. They do seem to be just trying to get the rights to anyone and everyone's videos so that they can sell them and make money off of them. Does NOT seem like a good deal to me. My YouTube Channel is only one part of "The Jousting Life" website and associated social networking sites, and I don't want to just give any part of it away. They might could claim that they then have rights to all of my work. If anyone has other information about Scalelab (and MCN's in general) to offer, it would be welcome.

I signed with ScaleLab about a month ago. Nothing much to report. They offered me the same 25/75 deal and invited me to join their "African American Hair Care" community. The little I could find about them seemed to point to them being a subsidiary of a bigger company that was looking to branch out and try something new. Everything about them seems to check out though. I even googled the CEO. He checks out also. My channel is still fairly small with a little over 1300 subscribers but I didn't see where I had anything to lose so I signed.

Nothing is acutually working on inside i see, I am going to ask what's with help getting a lot of subs and stuff so on soon. But at the moment it is not worth joining in my opinion
