ANIMATION: stills or animations .. Basically lip syncing or not

Made you look didn't eye #gottem
okokok so I've been thinking reeeeally hard on wether or not I should walk down the path on YT as more of a "animation channel" with lip syncing and "proper animation" I guess ?? (exampleYTers "jaiden Animations" "Domics" "tonyVtoons" "it's Alex Clark" Or to have still pictures that change every 5-10 seconds depending on what's happening in the video sorta like the odd 1s out?? ..... One takes way more work but looks .... Better .... Maybe? Idunno guys help me out plz thank yous much and OXXOX mmhm gooodbye

Dude I know exactly what you mean. I might mess with lip syncing in the future but I feel like it would reduce my upload consistency (you see how long its taking me to post my next video lol) I try to make up for the lack of lip sync with a lot of weird editing. I stuck to stills with slight animation because it saves me more time. I didnt want to be an animation channel that posted a video 3 to 5 times a year. But lip sync does look better and I believe in quality over quantity (sorry I wasn't much help). I am curious what people have to say as well.

both are great, james just made a new video and was able to add a lot more detail in other areas thanks to the no major lip synching thing. It's up to you where you would rather spend the time.

It's your decision and your creative process. If you have an idea or imagine your videos to look a certain, then do whatever it takes to make it look that way. If it's too much work in the beginning, then settle for something easier. I highly suggest you just have content in the first place to even see if people will enjoy it. Once you find what works for you, you can refine your craft.

Up to you on that front my man.

If six months from now you think that you don't like it then just change it up. It's all about experimenting and figuring out what works best for you as a person.
