What your channel needs most is a complete reworking of your brand. It's not a good idea to have 'Play-Doh', 'Thomas & Friends', 'Lego' or any other named brand featuring so prominently on your channel header as it implies that these brands have sponsored or are affiliated with your channel. Having a gradient red typeface/font on a plain bright green background also looks really cheap. Think about using bright, happy colours (yellows and oranges) as the core of your brand and apply it to all of your assets - avatar, channel header, thumbnails etc.

You should also consider making a logo to help solidify your brand and give an added consistency across your channel. Check out this site to gain inspiration for potential logo designs: https://logopond.com

In terms of content there's really not much I can write. Normally I would suggest investing in equipment to help increase production values but that would inconvenience you as you'd be carrying around way too much stuff. Your content is mostly off-the-cuff, run-and-gun shooting that is extremely hard to plan for.

Overall, work on your branding to give it a more professional, appealing look that will entice your potential viewers to check out your content. Good luck![/QUOTE]

@Klink First of all, I would like to Thank you for your Honest thoughts regarding about my channel. You Sir are the reason why new Youtubers like myself tends to become much better because of the way you give your utmost opinion. I will sure do keep in mind all you have just said and start making my Youtube channel more and more pleasing for others to appreciate.:thumbsup2: Thanks again!!! 2 thumbs up to you!!!:up2::up2:

First of all thanks a lot for your detailed review about my channel, which is definitly useful for improving my Youtube channel :)

1. I forgot to put the Youtube home page to custom layout yet, so that's really something useful you are pointing out. I will change it right away in order to promote any of my videos for any new viewers.

2. Secondly you are right about the inconsistency of my avatar and header, it's actually a thing I am still struggling with x)
For the avatar itself there is an easy solution. I might just take back my old avatar ( the one I am using here at this forum ), since it is the same text type/style as my current header.
I have tried to add any characters towards my header though, but that didn't satisfy me yet. Well I guess spending any extra time and trying out some things will get me any good result :)

3. You are definitly right as well about the input sound coming from my headset, which is not that great.
I am aware of this because it's a pretty cheap headset. Anyway I wanted to replace it soon already but didn't want that to be the reason of not starting up my new channel.

I have recently lowered the sound input of the in game sound in my recording program ( OBS ) so that did help out a bit already to make my voice any louder compared to the game sounds.
Still it's a good thing to lower the intro sound a bit since it is indeed way louder than the other content in the videos. So I would like to thank you here as well for mentioning it! :D

I will be working on these things and hope it will help me out in the future. Once again I wanted to thank you for your time, you did a great job! ;)

Thanks for the feedback! I am getting a job this summer, but to use the money I'll need to convince my parents to let me handle my funds (they plan on putting it away for a car fund). Failing that, I turn 17 in October. I'm sure I'll be getting some money then so I can at least get a mic or something.

Go for it. Take your time. Just quote this message so that it alerts me so I can read it later, you look pretty busy!

Anyway I want to know one question only, does my channel resemble any other channels you've seen, famous or not ? Thanks

Go into your channel options and use the custom home page. It looks far more professional and you can use the 'Channel Trailer' space to promote your latest videos and give your potential viewers a taste of your content. Channel branding wise you should think about logos, colours and photos that all tie into the core of your brand which is 'inspire'. You can go to this web site for a few branding ideas: https://logopond.com

Content wise it's a good start but far from perfect. It's great that you're using royalty free music and images which will prevent your channel from being flagged. However, the biggest issue with your current video thus far is the typos - "Diffucult" instead of "Difficult", "Workout" instead of "work out" etc. Going forward you need to read over your text several times in order to make sure that it's all spelled correctly and makes sense grammatically.

As I already mentioned, it's a good start. Just make sure that for your future videos everything is spelled correctly and work on a branding for your channel that best represents your content. Good luck!

Right off the bat I love the branding of your channel and I love that you've kept it consistent throughout (with the exception of the Mega Man/Rockman E-Tank). Fantastic work! That being stated, the text within the red stripe design is hard to read on desktop machines so you may want to consider either avoiding text or making the design larger to accomodate bigger, easier to read text.

Content wise your voice overs are high quality, clear and extremely easy to understand. The audio mixing and editing is also spot on. There really isn't anything I can add in this regard since you've got your content and style nailed down.

Branding wise your channel doesn't look like any other channel I've seen before. Content wise it's similar to a number of different lifestyle and travel channels, however those tend to focus on one particular aspect (gaming, locations, people etc) whereas yours has a much broader scope.

Overall I'm impressed. All you really need to do is tweak the thumbnail design and you're good to go. You've got over 120 subscribers for just 4 months of work which is incredible. I see a lot of potential in you and your channel and I know if you keep a regular upload schedule, your channel will surely succeed. Well done and good luck!

Thanks! I appreciate that! The text in the red stripe though just says the channel name and nothing else so I figured if you're in my channel or see the channel name elsewhere then it's just redundant but I'll think about how to do that better. When I started the Megaman video that was really when I solidified the look and feel of the videos and so the ones before it do seem a little different in that. I appreciate the review. I may just print this out and keep it to keep me motivated! Cheers

Hi I would love some feedback on my latest video. I've been experimenting with formats and would appreciate your feedback on this new video. Many thanks!

Alright so I know you got lots of channels to review but if you don't mind I'll be a cheeky b*****d and squeeze in line for a review if you don't mind.

If you actually take the time to glance at my channel, that would be greatly appreciated
