Adobe Premiere Pro Vs Final Cut Pro

Premiere is fine if you really wanna be technical but in terms if usability - final cut is so much easier and, if I'm throwing something basic together I'd use iMovie - it does a decent enough job to be fair and it's very quick!

Don't overthink it!

My personal experience with premiere pro wasn't great but I can see it being useful for aspiring film makers

I think it depends on how much you want to spend and what you want to do with it. I use both programs at work and while I find Final Cut a little more frustrating to work with (just because I learned how to edit on Premiere and I'm just starting to get the hang of Final Cut). Once you've figured out the interface of each, they're both good. However, with Adobe, if you want to be able to do everything (effects, basic editing, intense colour correction), you have to pay for the whole suite, which I think is a bit more pricy than Final Cut (???) and you have to work between separate programs. Final Cut basically has everything you need or you can buy little add-ons for special effects and stuff, but everything works within the one program. Effects-wise, Final Cut is more user friendly. Hope that helps!

I swapped from Sony vegas to APP to try it out and my god I haven't gone back to sony since! Rendering with APP is great and I imagine you can do way more in APP

If you want to stay more up-to-date with the times Premier is probably the best choice, I went from Sony Vegas to Premier about 3 years ago and have never looked back :)[DOUBLEPOST=1467121582,1467121558][/DOUBLEPOST]If you want to stay more up-to-date with the times Premier is probably the best choice, I went from Sony Vegas to Premier about 3 years ago and have never looked back :)
