A tip to get more Subs and Views using Twitter

You don't use your main Twitter account to do this. You use promotional ones specifically for marketing and advertising your content. If they want to follow your main twitter account they can and that's where you can build that relationship with the person and engage with them.

The only way a promotional account would be able to engage with its followers is by getting directly tweeted at by being tagged. Even then that can be lost fairly easily with all the follow back notifications.
I am aware of this. You really shouldn't use a personal account for this. However there is a very high degree of spam on twitter these days. Only posting your videos and spamming someone's inbox is not a very good way to promote yourself. People are more likely to delete the message as so many people do this. When I get a DM that is clearly an auto DM I just delete it. It's better to do this organicly and check out their profile and write a personal message and try and get to know them. Eventually youtube will come up, and they are more likely to check it out then if they feel you are just spamming them with a link. Also a general ratio of non-promotional tweets and posts on a forum is generally about 5-10 non-promo posts to 1 promo post. Of course it is your decision how you choose to promote yourself. It is your twitter account after all. I was merely saying how I feel about it. =] I personal;ly would not link my personal account with anything youtube related as I am quite paranoid about security and what-not. As I said, this is my personal opinion, and I respect yours as well XD

Marketing and advertising strategies are pretty much spamming you promotional material. So if you watch TV shows or stuff on Hulu, you will get bombarded with ads. If you don't use Ad Block on YouTube, you will get bombarded with ads. The whole point of marketing and advertising content is to get as many eye balls to see what is being promoted. This has been going on for decades.

I don't see how it being done on Twitter is such a bad thing when it's been around for literately decades in very traditional media. Even newspapers and magazines are littered with ads. Even going to certain websites with Ad Block turned off will subject you to ads of some kind. Again, that's okay but doing it on Twitter isn't?

Sorry, but that makes no sense to me.

But yeah like you said, it's up to you how you promote your channel and content. I just like to view things as consistently as possible. Maybe that's cause of my business background and experience. lol

What I'm saying is... if people feel like they are being spammed.... they are less likely to actually check out your channel. Also, I feel as though you are being very confrontational. It is my opinion, I respect yours and would appreciate the same courtesy.

Wasn't trying to be confrontational. I definitely know I can be like that. Sorry if you felt like I was.

But I do agree on the perception of something looking and feeling spammy. Perception is everything since that's what determines reputation.

I don't use crowdfire but a very similar web page. I run 2 twitter accounts and pay for the service. Cost me around $9 a month. I follow around 2k people every day between the 2 accounts. When people follow back they get a nice message from me. If they respond I make sure I respond to them to. I have gotten tons of positive feedback from people. I am also very social on Twitter and have made alot of friends. It's effective! I was surprised to see their are strong feelings opposed to using twitter this way. It helps and you do in fact interact with these people.

I used to do this on Twitter and Instagram. It provides a lot of inactive subs that support you just because it's that easy to help someone out and subscribe. It always gives you a handful of real viewers/fans. It will never ever compare to Youtube promotion through SEO and targeted videos.

I agree. This is NOT my only form of advertising. I use it with YouTube promotion, SEO, and word of mouth. It's another tool to use.
