Holy hell, this thread has changed my life. My mind is blown, the era of 1080p has begun. It's beautiful, my eyes are melting from the amazing quality of the upgrade from 720p to 1080p. Also, that milkshake is delicious looking in 1080p.

Well at the moment recording 90% of my games in 1080p doesn't cause any lag for me at all, rendering a 1080p video goes in just a touch over 1:1 ratio (20 minute video renders in 22 minutes) and I can upload a 1.5GB 1080p video at 8mill bitrate in about 30 minutes. It doesn't really waste any time for me

In my opinion, 1080p is not a waste. Did you not see how flacid I was before I changed from 720p to 1080p? Afterwards, it was like a tower. That milkshake is amazing in 1080p.
