You will need to edit it in Photoshop and then save it and then upload it by going to Channel Settings and uploading it there

You could use GIMP to edit, that is free

I think I've heard that there's some templates for other programs out there, but I'm not sure... :/

These work in GIMP just the layer orders are a little messed up which aint too bad considering theres only four I think.
