Why would I ever want a network partner??

Ok so from what I've seen people say so far .. a network partner does not technically put effort into promoting your channel .. they dont give you anything tangible .. a dashboard & customer support ummmm ok .. they take a cut naturally starting as high as 40% which lowers based on how much you dont really need them ... and you average around $2-5 per 1000 which at the top end is still lower than what I saw on my old channel and my new one seems to be right around the same so far.

So Im just really struggling here to see why it's such a big deal to join a network. There has to be something I'm missing. If they don't give you anything that would mean the driving factor was money. or maybe the adsense placement for the general vlogger is less than $2 and I just happen to be in a higher priced category? If there's a potential advantage to a network I'd be interested in knowing exactly what it is.

I don't know why a vlogger would do that since I'm not really into vlogging and I don't know anything about it,but a gamer NEEDS a network to monetize videos, cuz gameplays are copyrighted content.

Truthfully,The main reason I partnered was Protection from Click bombing. my Vlog channel go Clicked bombed and i wasn't able to make anymore money off it cause adsense was disabled and i really didn't want that to happen with my Main channel... if i knew that Click bombing was even a risk i would have never activated ad sense before Partnership. One of the other good perks i can say about being partnered is if you have any questions or concerned you can just talk to a Network manager and within 24 hrs (atleast with me) i get a response. with youtube you almost never ever get a response..

But with that being said..if i wasn't click bombed i would have never Joined a partnership as early as i did... somethings always felt odd about Smaller channels being partnered like they'll screw us over some how but i guess we'll see so far i have no complaints at all

1) If you`re a gaming or music channels, licenses are needed.
2) Premium networks give you extra features
3) I don`t know where you got 2-5$ from because mine is more like 4-12$ atm.

i agree with VicBoss the main problem everywhere would be clickbomming and then i have to agree with Hatterrific bcuz with games you have masive copyright problems ... in my opinion those 2 reasons would be the main and only reasons

Thats the reason i really wanted to join a network is better protection from click bombing and i had heard so many users claim there adsense account is banned in which they cannot create another adsense account because of this and one thing about adsense i just found out researching online is that they only offer support to big channels thats generating the big bucks. Im glad fullscreen accepted me when they did and i mean you get to keep all your partner perks upon joining the network you just get more tools and support then your own partner panager assigned to you the one that sends the contract to you electronically:} If youtube responds to one of your emails it has got to be a miracle..hehe

now getting closer to $12 / 1000 would be better provided the network % wasn't too much. I suppose the next question would be "how" click bomb protection is implemented. I seriously doubt that it's a case of Google saying .. hmmm they look like they have some fraudulent activity going on but they belong to a network so we'll just void that out. Could it be the network simply monitors for potential activity then takes the appropriate measures, blocking the IP site in adsense and submitting the proper forms that adsense recommends all partners do? I would want to know exactly how the % was justified.

Every computer that accesses the internet or any mobile device is assigned with a ip address which is a internet protocol address and maybe somehow they log your ip address in the system when you access your youtube account and if they see invalid click activity then they will indeed take measures to block the user;)
