Why would anyone in their right mind join a network?

there was actually a discussion on the forums and the bad part about the (big libraries) is that if you were to leave the network after using the royalty free music in your videos and join another network (say they don't own the same rights to the same music as the other) they get claimed basically :/
 
You should stay with youtube for partnership but join networks for gaming if ur big then u get a studio
 
So really then for me as a non gamer there is really no reason to join a network other than to p**s away money/revenue?

Yeah that's the problem if you leave a network., that's why i don't recommend using the music library, if possible you can make your own music. If i leave Fullscreen i will no longer be able to monetize cover songs only my original music.
 
I think it all comes down to how big your channel is, obviously the bigger your channel gets the more chance you will have of getting click bombed for starters. But also the bigger your channel gets means the more of a reputation you have. If you have a following and are respected by a group of people and have a large group of people interested in you that will appeal to outside influences. You will basically have a product that people will want to get in on and having a decent network and network manager, they could easily work with this to gain you much more money and much better incentives
