Why would anyone in their right mind join a network?

Am I missing something here?

*Youtube takes a percentage of revenue
*Network takes another percentage of revenue

If youtube already takes a cut in revenue then why would anyone join a network and give them yet another percentage of revenue?

Maybe I am missing something but seems to me the more people that take a piece of the pie the less delicious pieces are left for me.

Someone please help me understand why anyone should join a Network!

Fullscreen has a feature i want they have the FAM library, but i don't know about the others though. Maybe because of click bombing, but if i'm a vlogger i will not join a network.

They might have a really fit network manager that they want to get into bed and the only way for that is to join the network

Not sure why so many people are against partnership. Adsense isn't that great to be honest. Neither is partnership money (most of the time), but many partnerships have great features. For example, Fullscreen has a huge royalty free music library, with many applications and forums that are only exclusive to partners. It really does help with finding your audience, checking stats, and whatnot.

depends on the networks contract like 50/50, 60/40, 70/30, etc. and if i'm not mistaken some good reasons are networks usually provide ad's that are worth more on your videos, and you get a certain amount every 1,000 views instead of people clicking your ad's I could be wrong but I believe that's what I understand from the switch PLUS it kind of helps gamers because it auto claims instead of going through the process of being monetized

The Internet has huge library's of royalty free music, applications, forums which can be accessed by everyone though

If you have a larger channel, the amount paid to the network is minimal and you may have the opportunity to get most of that money back in the form of perks/incentives. And you have to realize that when you get larger, the goal is to not have Adsense/preroll ads as the primary source of your YouTube income. Networks can help facilitate those deals that make Adsense earnings look like pocket change.
