Why did you join a network like Fullscreen/Socialblade etc..

Would love to know how a network could actually benefit you compared to you being an indie stand alone channel. Thoughts? :D

Trying to get as much feedback as possible before I actually decide to sign the contract with Fullscreen.
ThankS! <3

Aiko,

First off, your videos are awesome! I love the look and feel you bring with each video. To answer your question, we offer an array of tools to help you succeed on YouTube. Our dashboard keeps you up to date with earnings, gives you tools such as a Fullscreen link shortener and a bulk annotator and so much more. We also offer our Gorilla campaigns with CPMs from $20-$40 which are great ways to earn extra money on top of your normal YouTube revenue. Speaking of your YouTube revenue, we have one of the largest sales teams in the industry who direct sell ads for our partners. What this means is that we look at your demographics and content of your channel and offer ads that relate directly to you which, in turn, make the ads more valuable to you and you earn more money than the standard, non-specific ads that you would get as a normal YouTube partner.

Lastly, one way that you would benefit with us would be that you would, most likely, be put into our Beautique sub-network which would allow you the opportunity to easily collab with similar channels, take part in network promotions and much more.

I hope this information helps. You make great content and we're excited that you're considering partnering with us. Good luck!

-Austin

Hi Austin! It's great to see that you guys are here answering questions too..Right now we are still discussing contract terms. E-mailing back and forth with Ryan so hopefully that works out. I've yet to receive a reply yet from my last email but I think it should be soon :). Since you are here and answering questions, I wanted to know if a fixed cpm is better or one that fluctuates according to the season. I got an email from another network too (won't mention names) and they offered like a fixed cpm of $1.45 regardless if the season is at a down or high...im thinking its no good? Oo

People have varying opinions on this but a $1.45 CPM is really low. This past December, which is the highest time for CPMs, we had partners, who aren't our "top tier" talent, bringing in $10 CPMs. We have our dedicated sales team here to try and get the best ads possible for every season for our partners which is why we don't want to limit ourselves to a fixed CPM.

Alright :D I'm still waiting on my email reply from Ryan from Fullscreen..lets see if the deal goes through :) thanks for your answers!

So did you ever negotiate the revenue offerings with fullscreen?

they didnt send me a reply yet LOL^^..i think my last email was saturday ? or was it friday ?D we started at 70/30 cut then i asked for 80/20, they went up 75/25...and i still didnt settle and asked for 80/20 still...so no reply at the moment :) It's probably a deal they don't want to give, however an e-mail would suffice on their part....Well we will see..:D I'm not really in a hurry to join a network anyway. Whether or not it would have benefited me in anyway im not sure lol...How are you! Did u come thru with your deal? :D
