Why are people rushing for a partnership

I don't understand why people partner with terrible networks just to be partnered ... maybe 3 years ago partnership would be an achievement, but it can so easily be done now that I just won't partner until i need to. I don't get why people are in such a hurry, yeah it may help you network but being tied down to a network for a period of time sucks and unless you're a director on the network you won't benefit that much from it anyways. Just a thought.. i don't see myself partnering until i hit 10,000 subs .... if i ever do.

If there are people that are partnered reading this, let me know why you got partnered, maybe there's something I'm missing here.

I agree I think that when getting into youtube you should be patient, all people care about now is the money but it should be about having fun and getting to know your audience

for me, I got partnered because the network could help me branch out and spread my channel a little bit. Also, there are networks like FAM that allow for monetized cover songs, which is huge for musicians like myself.

peoeple want money so they rush to get a partnership

then when they dint get as much money as they thought well the quit youtube

also if your partnered people ar more likely to watch ur videos and subscribe

A lot of people tend to think that Partnership = Instant Income! Truth is, these networks often don't pay out until a certain dividend has been reached, and for that a channel needs to pull in a fair amount of views/month to even be worth something to the network.

It's genuinely worth to wait until your channel has established a bit, get some loyal fans/subscribers, get a thing going before even thinking about applying. Then when you do decide to apply to a network, pick the one that provides the most help, guidance and support because those things are really important in the long run!
