Which network should I choose ?

Thanks for these infos! In fact I want a network allows me to upload gaming content (gameplay/trailers) and copyrighted music (for example Universal songs)
I've heard Curse is a really good and one of the best/the best network for gaming channels, but has not any contracts for music and its still an issue for me. :(

Most networks don't have "gaming licenses" like they say. (Machinima probably does though.) I have asked a few and they never give me a straight response or provide proof.

Some just discourage the use of trailers in your videos. I mean it is safest to stay away from all that. Usually, you won't get in trouble from the gaming publisher. For example: Maker has RELATIONS with EA and Activision-but that does not mean they have the right to upload trailers and stuff-it just means you probably won't get screwed over if you do have some clips in your videos. It's also best to obviously have commentary over it. That goes the same with gameplay. It usually falls under "fair use" if you have commentary over the gameplay pertaining to what is happening and stuff.

Yeah, Maker and Fullscreen have signed contracts about Universal Songs, but I don't know if it works for all the sub-networks and everyone. You should contact support and ask them about it. :)

Machinima doesn't / wasn't able to provide proof of any such when I asked several reps. More on so called 'licenses' to monetize and such: yttalk.com/threads/how-anyone-can-monetize-gameplay-without-a-network-a-lesson-in-fair-use.47720/
 
I know Fullscreen get you access to the Universal music songs that you can still monetize, I'm with them so let me know if you want me to put you in touch with my partner manager. I must say though I've no experience with how they are for gamers so I wouldn't go so far as to outright recommend them for you.

From what I heard it's for that specific group of partners in Fullscreen that do music covers and such. And apparently, the contract is ONLY for them to be able to cover the songs under Universal Music. :O

That would be FAM (Fullscreen Artist Mix), I think it might just be FAM members who get it now you mention it, I don't know whether they let non-music channels into FAM so perhaps disregard my earlier point :unsure2:
