Where have the days gone when you have to EARN a Partnership direct with YouTube or any other network for that matter. The scene these days is overrun by networks, offering partnerships to everyone no matter their statistics or growth.

I earned my Partnership direct with YouTube, then I moved to Base79 on a Premium Partnership deal. Back a few years back I was proud of my work and that I was offered these exclusive partnerships and deals. These days to be a YouTube Partner or a Partner on any other Network means absolutely nothing!

I agree. I'm not a partner for so long but I think I earned my partnership and it was a great thing. now....meh.

I think it's for the best. Soon the networks offering little to nothing will become obselete. With the influx of networks, like any market, comes higher quality services competing.

There's nothing wrong with it. We all work hard for our videos whether you are small or big channel. Before i want also to be a youtube partner but it's impossible because it's not available in my country. You should also think about the other countries that did not have the opportunity before and right now we are given a chance.

Agreed but this is not the point I am trying to make. I am now saying that being a 'YouTube Partner' means absolutely nothing any more.

Exactly, YouTube partnership is almost irrelevant now to be honest.
