The Views Lost Thread (Lost views? Post here first!)

So I've seen a bunch of people post on the thread about views getting deducted, and my channel never got views deducted so I thought everything was all good. I just checked my channel and I'm down 1900 views /: le sigh. Idk why though, maybe they finally got to the mobile view glitch that happened a while back?

Just refreshed and got hit by another wave of deductions. Only 200 views, thankfully.

Possibly. Don't forget YT also deduct page refreshes, people who click-on-and-off and views from your IP address. And of course mobile views they deem excessive.

1) 30% of all Mobile views in January were glitched/fake/miscalculated
2) You can now only view once per IP , browser etc so if you view a video ten times it will only count as one view.
3) There was a miscalculated view spike for alot of channels on then 14th.

They do this once in a while. Someone posted SocialBlade stats of one popular channel who had over 2 million views removed in the space of a day (nothing to them, but still a lot)
