Symph's tips for the opinional vlogger

Thanks for the tips, I've taken them in to account and I'll try to improve as a Vlogger in my future videos. ^_^

Hey man, this helps me out allot because i'm a ranter. I know i need to get better haha and these are some good points and advice. Can you do me a favor and check out my channel? Tell me what i need to improve on. THANK YOU

there's a difference between being 'funny' and being 'humorous'. There are almost no successful vloggers who don't add an element of humor to their videos. There are almost no successful speakers in general who don't do this. You don't have to be a 'comedy channel'. but I think adding an element of humor to your videos is very important.

I made this when I had seen alot of vlogs that would ramble, and leave in parts where the person was stumbling over words and forgetting what they were saying and the whole vlog was "so today I went to the store and I got some eggs and milk, then I came home and studied for exams, I'm not sure what to talk about, what do you guys want me to say?" kind of vlogs and I was like "ok... you gotta think of this from the viewer's perspective man" LOL

Oh man, I see so many of these videos. Vlogging about every detail of your day for your own benefit (I don't know, maybe you want to look back in 10 years and go "wow, I went to the store and studied for exams that day. How cool and interesting"?) is fine, but people who do so can't complain that people don't watch their videos! The only way I could find "vlog about every single detail of every single day of my life" videos interesting is if that person was involved in something really cool. Like a movie actor. Or... something else that would be interesting.[DOUBLEPOST=1346788274,1346788119][/DOUBLEPOST]

This. Exactly.

I try to have at least one humorous moment in all of my videos (though sometimes I'm just conveying some information or updates really quick so I don't). People do notice; I get more comments on "hahaha, [the humorous part] was really funny" than I do on the actual video content. >.<

Perfect tips for the new Vlogger!!
People tend to shy away a bit and think they shouldn't be over the top..
but what gets seen?
A calm talking person?
Or an extreme enthusiastic weirdo?

.. think :)
