I know its stated in your "rules" but I'm sure he missed that since he did post it. You could have been nice and referred him to the rules but instead you made out like his channel is trash automatically. Did you say it? No but it sure came off you...kinda like you where above video game commentaries or something.

"This review is exactly like many of my other gameplay reviews, you're playing a game, we're hearing your reactions, and I am not sitting through 19 minutes of it. This is exactly like the millions of other gaming channels who do the same thing."

That's like saying every song is the same so why bother listening to others.

I'm sure you didn't mean it like that man but that's just how it comes off to me in my opinion. That's all I am trying to say.

That makes PERFECT SENSE.. You're RIGHT!! I was demeaning the integrity of the genre itself, THANK YOU! I will word reviews like that better from now on, appreciate it!
 
I don't think you did anything wrong someone can't ask for your opinion and then get POed when they don't agree with it. My mama always said don't ask a question you don't want the answer to. Your opening post should have been a red flag to gamers that their material doesn't tickle your fancy and so would be difficult to get a favorable review from someone NOT interested. Perhaps some people took that as a challenge to impress you but I would have thought maybe of going to someone that makes gaming videos and asks them and bounce stuff off of them because they relate to one another. Maybe one of the Vetran gamers can use the same format you used here and make it exclusively for gaming channels.

All in all I think the tug of war that happened on this thread was a complete waste of time and has derailed its original intent. Now good sir as a musician to a musician I would appreciate a review on my signature video I am just starting out and am working on improving all aspects of what I do as a musician and video editor :)

Thank you sir, I welcomed the exchange with Ray because I legitimately want to grow as a person and Ray is an intuitive guy who saw a flaw in my presentation of myself, but outside of that, I'm sorry this happened man! This is supposed to be a review thread, not a soap opera...
 
Come on guys if you dont want a review then keep this thread on topic and dont bother posting before more warnings are issued for trashing this thread and insulting each other. Dont respond to this either if you have anything to say keep it in pms.

That's a flattering comment coming from the Symphonious7!

Really, I don't mind criticisms and would never assume anyone liking (or not liking) my videos. I only said that to help ease tensions, which I see has failed miserably! ;)

The only reason I've never asked for a review is because all I do is vlog in my car with the girlfriend and there's not really that much more I could do with it. I'm also looking to expand into other stuff (keeping the Drive at five as a regular installment) like sketches and stuff. Now with shows, that'll be easy to organize!

When I put up sketches, I'll definitely seek a review from Symphonious! And I expect it to be brutal, too. I was in Kung fu (ya, I know...not the type you'd think to be in Kung fu) and my teacher (master) was so hard on me I thought I was the worst student he ever had. One day he pulled me aside and told me that his being hard on me was because he liked me and that in China that's how it's done. Since then, and because of him, I take criticism well and even as a compliment. lol. I was programmed early so for future reference, I'm not offended easily, ok? :)
