Reddit can be great. But you have to be careful. It has really changed over the years making it very hard to get noticed. If your content isn't great, that doesn't matter. You are at the mercy of the mods and other super users. You've got to spend some time in there and then you can post. You'll get some views and you never know. It can't hurt. The comments are no worse than the YouTube comments. Good luck!

Some reddit mods can be a little stuck up, but then you just have to deal with it or move to another subreddit. There's too many to choose from to promote. It's all just a numbers game. Even for my own subreddits I've had mods who I've removed from their positions just because they seemed too much like a know it all or control freak.
