I Love YTtalk
At a 2013 Online Video Advertising Summit, it was reported that 80-85% of skip-able in-stream ads are being skipped.

I'm not sure if that includes YouTube or if that is non-YouTube data.
I know that people are getting frustrated with YouTube's TrueView advertising. Rarely do people want to sit through TrueView Ads. I often see THREE MINUTE ads being offered. If people get accustomed to clicking the skip button because there are too many long ads, they probably skip the 15 second ones too because they are trained to skip them.
I stopped using TrueView ads a couple weeks ago. I allow the overlay in-video ads (banners) but if I'm want an instream ad to run, it will be standard. I do not allow TrueView.
What's your thoughts on not using the TrueView option?
