The original ones were (mine is 2 years) but apparently this new one is less. I guess in a way it guarantees even more than people with 10 views a day don't get any money :/

I recently got partnered with RPM, although i don't have that many daily views yet i wanted partnered to grow my channel. I am not interested in the money i enjoy recording and editing, even though i am not the best, its what i enjoy. So just go with what you think.

Same, at the moment we're not expecting to make little or any money, so we're just looking to build our channel

I just looked at RPM's Contract, and they have changed back to 60/40 with 1 year lock in. Seems they have rectified their mistakes.

I don't think so, but who knows? I signed up for the 1 year with 60/40 so I don't know.

It's really up to you, as long as you are not interested in the money it's not such a bad choice as people make it out to be.
