Royalty Free Music

If you're not sure, you have to ask the person who put up that video. :)
Okay thanks, one question offtopic.

Do i have to wait certain time after I change thumbnail, because i've been waiting for like half an hour - one hour and thumbnail is still not changed ? do you know what may cause that? :S

In videomanager, it's changed, but when I share it somewhere, or on playlist, it's same thumbnail as before :S

Yep, it takes some time before your custom thumbnail updates. It's irregular. But, it's usually updated by the end of the day. :)

Thats an awesome list. I always find that the vids that have a song in the background just takes out that white noise perfectly. I hope to use one of these guys for my next vid!

I certainly hope you can! Remember, even though most of the sites/channels I listed down produce royalty free music, just PM them a message to their YouTube accounts to make sure for certain that you've permission to use their soundtracks. :) Don't wanna get you into any trouble, so don't forget!

Thanks for the Share :)
You're very welcome! Don't forget to ask the person who uploaded the soundtrack for permission first just in case! Unless they declare in their description box that you're allowed to use their music. :)

One thing I forgot to mention is that You Tube Editor has music that's under the Creative Commons. You choose a genre from the drop down list and can listen to different tracks and pick one that fits your video. I've used it a few times. It is recommended listing the name of the artist and song in the description. Here are some tutorials for the video editor program. http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=youtube+video+editor[DOUBLEPOST=1365463167,1365455661][/DOUBLEPOST]The public domain music link is working now. http://freepd.com/

Thanks! I'll be putting this in the first post. :)

You're welcome. I learned a lot of this stuff when searching for background music for my own videos. One thing to watch for, even on forums that say "pubic domain" you'll note that the website administrator warns that some items may be claimed as copywrited without their knowledge. That occurred with music I used which later showed a "third party match" claim. I redid the video with new music to be on the safe side.

joshwoodward.com is another site with royalty/copyright free music. You can also get royalty free music at videoblocks.com as well as sound effects with a paid membership. You can start off with a 7 day free membership, just remember to read the rules and always give credit where required.
