Questions for ATV and RPM

Alright... if possible I'd like to hear from people with personal experience or stories about being with Awesomeness TV and/or RPM. From what I can tell, basically anyone can join in.... but they give you a 50/50 contract deal and you're locked for 2 years. Also, I do wonder if it's convenient for me (check my channel for views/subs/etc) since I'm already monetized.

The only advantage I see is that as is, I only monetize my rants and things without any other content whatsoever. My actual VGM show and Let's Plays are NOT monetized. And the VGM show is the main reason people watch my channel and gets the most views. So if I do get with Awesomeness TV or RPM I would at least get closer to making the threshold because I could monetize ALL my videos now.

How does the 2 year contract work? Does it force you to post certain videos a week or something? Or just that you're stuck with them for two years? I kinda wanna know as much as I can from people that are with them or have dealt with them before. And any other extra advice or hidden fineprint you think I should know about before making a decision.

Do you mean RPM as well? I am an RPM partner and I have nothing but praise for the network.
Yes, I was asking about both. If anyone has seen my Video Game Masters show, can someone tell me if RPM can monetize that without any problems? I've never gotten a copyright strike. The only episode I got muted was one of the WWE game reviews because I stupidly forgot that WWE theme songs count as real songs, but I went back and put game music instead.

I'm also seeing it as 'hey, at least I'd be earning more than I do now' Also, how does this work? Do they send you check? Direct deposit? I seen videos of people receiving checks from Youtube, but idk about a network.

You won't be making more, with your daily views, you will most likely will be making less. If the contract is 50/50, you are only getting half of your money. Let's say you make $100 before they split. (which is the payment hold- You will not get paid until you reach that. [It may be $50, i'm not sure with RPM]), you will only make $50. So you would have to make $200 before they split the pay, in order to get paid $100.) I suggest waiting until you get at least 100 views daily on average. Anything less will not be smart.

You can get either DD or a check I believe, I have DD for sure though.

True, but I do kinda see it as making more than I am now because then I can monetize all my videos and not just a couple of rant videos. It might take more than 2 years to get 100 daily views. I usually get those whenever one of my vids happens to get a attention, like the 'Megan Fox will be April in the TMNT movie' vid, but I can't count on those kind of views daily. But as it is, out of 100 or so videos, only 10 or so are monetized, and life is too busy to crank out videos constantly. I do see this as a hobby and I love doing the show, but hey, if I can make a few bucks for doing what I normally do for free... why not? Half of what I earn is better than nothing of what I earn...?

How does it sound from my point of view? I do realize it sounds dumb for people with tons of views/subs a day, but hey, if I had that I'd be going straight to Fullscreen.

If you cannot count on getting 100 views daily for a while, I suggest not getting partnered. Even if you did, and monetized all your videos, it will be a long time before you got paid. My videos have been monetized since November 2012, and I have almost 200. I have made maybe $5. If you are expecting to make money from it, don't expect it any time soon. If you're not worried about making money, go for it. But remember that you are locked in that contract until it's over. So if you are planning on hopefully making more money in the future, you are going to have to wait until that contract is over.

If you are wanting to get partnered to make money from all your videos, I don't really suggest it just yet.

Question... if I get partnered by RPM, would I be able to Monetize all my videos? They don't have songs or movie clips, just game footage with commentary.

Also I heard RPM is a 1-year contract? If I do decide to join and it sucks... 1 year does sound better than being stuck for 2 years...? I also heard when the contract ends you get paid whatever you managed to make if you didn't reach the 50?

I'm also curious. You said you had 200 videos. How is your view/sub rate?

And I do realize I have to do my own work to get channel exposure. I'm also not expecting view to suddenly skyrocket just because of RPM. I do know that much. The banner sounds cool though.

Also... I assume signing up has to be with your real name... not your Youtube persona name? And how safe is it to put your bank info on there?
