i made this with the purpose of collaborating however it does appear that this is no longer happening haha. I think I just spent the last two evenings making footage that will never be used
 
well yttalk would have to actually take the videos and use them to promote their channel but they aren't doing that so its just a waste of time to generate content that will never actually be used by the owners to bring in traffic. It then just becomes a fan video which does not really have the same purpose and impact. Anyhow there is my contribution please use it as you wish that is what it was made for hehe. However since I am not crediting the engines used in the video you cannot monitize any video created with the content I made.

I never said for people to do YTtalk promotional videos for us to use, it is peoples own choice if they wish to make such videos and secondly, the proper YTtalk promotional video which was a collab of around 12 or more members was the official promotional video for members to upload to their channels to help us out, I did plan on uploading it to my YTDesigner channel which I later deleted to make room for my new channel I have in the works and I did plan on uploading the video to it at the point of the original promotional video being created. I cant utilise the original promotional video, there just isnt somewhere I can upload it to where people havent already seen it, if I uploaded it to YTtalkTV the vast majority of people seeing it would be members of the forum. The videos in this thread are mainly shout outs or name drops for the site, theyre not 100% promo videos.

We havent even arranged a second collab video yet.

i'm not saying you did . There was a colab done at one point in time I read the thread it appeared to be ongoing so I started to come up with some video that could be chopped up and used however as I stated in the response there is little point to making formal promo videos if yttalk is not going to circulate them and this is what this guy is saying. Its a fan video its fine however if i had known no one was going to pick up the footage and adapt it I would not have spent 2 days creating it in such a way that people could download it, do voice overs add and remix it. I just made a video that has absolutely no purpose and took two days doing it haha. I dont even think anyone has bothered to even say thank you :)

Bottom line I learned my lesson on this forum. If people want something done for them they need to pm and ask.

I have wasted my time to date doing the following
1) making one background for a dude who was busy just leaching
2) drafting a background for another guy who never even bothered to return to the thread
3) making CC footage and a jingle for something that I dont know what it was for right now

I understand you spent two days on it but to be fair no one asked you to make a video for a collab or even say they would use it. This thread is about shout out videos so you made your video off your own back and it is not like it was requested for, so someone would thank you. I do understand you spent hard work on it but the collab video thread from awhile ago was already done/made and not ongoing, people was just mentioning they are going to make their own promo on the same thread after the video was already finished and you said you was going to make an ad which most people would assume it would be for your own promotion of the site. I think it would of been better if you would asked whether videos for the collab was needed so you wouldn't of made a video and thought you wasted your time :)
