If you drew a good picture hmm... that is indeed a good question on the subject of Copyright!... I would guess that it´s not copyright infringement since it´s an artist creation, there are videos on YouTube that feature Mario and Luigi as characters, that has not been taken down yet... I would link it but I don´t know who it was... all I know is I saw it done and it had millions of views... And somehow I doubt the Mario letters is trademarked but hey I´m new to such a thing... I know more about music copyright lol

Its like if I drew the McDonalds logo the "M" and used it in a video talking about their burgers, I can imagine them having issues over it. I think when it comes to images they might as well scrap most of the laws when it comes to big brands if people are just talking about the products or promoting them or at least make it clear what you can or cant use and the ways you can use their stuff. People are bound to use their logos in their work when talking about them or whatever. The general public are publishers and content makers these days and they should accommodate for them before people just dont bother because they're too worried over getting their stuff removed or getting sued for it and put a nasty hole in their pockets.
