I would like to suggest caution for those looking at networks. Machinima specifically has had some very recent drama about their contracts. A lot of Machinima content producers are young youtubers who aren't very contract savvy and got locked into perpetual contracts and are having a very hard time exiting to go do other things.
Make sure you read your contract and if you don't understand any piece of it, find someone who does (Maybe even posting a small piece on a place like Reddit hoping for people who can explain it to you)

Definitely! Some are pretty shady, while others are more reputable. This is partially why I'm afraid to join one, due to the crazy contracts you can get trapped in. I know that TGN, Fullscreen and SocialBlade are pretty well-known for being helpful. Still, never trust anybody, right?
