I am at the end of my rope...
This is gone from silly to stressful real quick. In another thread, I have been talking about how my videos are getting the ! sign every single week. Even though the songs were made for me by a personal friend, we have a contract/proof that I show over and over, and even provide the contract in the top of my descriptions. Everytime they ask for more info...i send them the exact same contract and they monetize my videos right away.

So now for the NEW problem. This email...

Dear SeageSpeaks,

We really appreciate you getting in touch about joining our network.

After reviewing the content on your channel, we have determined that we cannot bring you into the network at this time. It appears that your videos are primarily based on content or music that you may not own or have the appropriate rights to. Once this content has been removed, feel free to reapply.

Sincerely,
The RPM Network

Omg....guys, the stress is driving me up the wall... what the hell do i have to do to prove to these people that this music is infact legal for me to use??? My friend has tried revising the contract...he has given me compete rights to using all of his music and theres so much proof outside of them just calling him themselves and asking. We did everything legally but I'm still getting this. The content in the videos outside of audio...all mine. Its my voice, my art, and the music, as I've explained, I am legally entitled to use and monetize via contractual agreement with my friend. I have no idea what to do anymore. Im getting flagged like mad, and I can't even join a network, lol....
I'm a step away from giving up. Does no one read?

What do I do guys!!? Im lost.

The ironic thing is being in a network would prevent these things from happening :(

Can I ask (only cos I don't know): are any of your songs remixes, sampled from other music, or pieced together using 'free' music samples?

That's a tough one...do you have a phone you can call to speak directly to someone instead of sending e-mails??

It sucks you're going through this.

It sounds like you are in a nasty situation. YouTube likes when it's a document signed by the artist that you can use their music, but.. you ARE the artist? Wtf?

try emailing them through their support, explain, and if they still don't accept...well...they're not very nice

Ooh wait I think I know your problem!

Click on the More Info -- his videos are NOT actually under a CC licence. You must choose this option when uploading, otherwise it's under the Standard YouTube licence. That's probably why he's monetising without isssue and you're getting content matches left right and centre.

You need to have a word with him about it.

Another problem after looking at your videos. Whenever music is used writing 'music used with permission by a friend' is not acceptable, you must put all relevant clauses and links in every video where a piece of music is used. Otherwise it doesn't count.

Yeah..thats the funny thing -.-
And no, none of the songs are remixed. My friend makes them from scratch, and all of these werent sampled. I just dont get it.

Im going to try to find a phone number. I wonder if others here have been through this....

Yeah, the contract is signed actually. Its written up, signed, (a real sig) and i even pasted skype conversations as proof that it was used with permission.

Aaaaa...guys :( Has anyone been through something like this?

Actually, the songs he sent me, a bunch are not on youtube or the internet He sent them directly to me.
I've linked to his page as hes the creator, only like 2 or 3 of the songs were uploaded to the internet. And the songs hes been using (for his painting videos) lately besides the Mei song, were actually created by HIS friend.
They cant cross match with anything on Youtube as the songs dont exist there.

What would you say to do for the music? I've seen others just put "song: title" and thats it.... so i figured since i put music by, his name, his link and put the contract in the description, it would be enough. Or does he have to upload every song to the internet? It seems so ridiculous :/

Oh right ignore the video comment then. But the rest stands you need the following info:

Title
Artist
Licence/Permission paragraph (both the text and a link to it on his website if you can)

And you need that on every single video you use it.

You say you're getting contend ID matches. Who by? Like normal it'll give you an artist name or something? It isn't Agora Aggregator is it?
