New Youtubers it won't happen overnight!

Hello everyone ! @ Kraken Soup I looked at one of your videos. Do you create games and them post them on YT? Everyone else thank you for sharing your experience thus far. As you can see we are all growing at different rates. I am happy for you guys. We also offer a variety of content. Remember to use searchable titles. If you create a video with unique titles it might be hard for people to find your video. Also try to create more variety (if possible) in your content. The more the better. You will attract a larger audience. Stay encouraged and let's keep the conversation going. ;)

Hey! Not quite, its recordings of gameplay footage and lets play etc with commentary which is edited together. They're suppose to be commercial and light hearted.

Its a very saturated 'market' so a lot of other people are doing the same thing.

Hello everyone, i started to upload videos on my channel like 3 months ago ... i uploaded few videos , then stopped and now i started doing it consistently every single day, now i am doing it around half a month i really enjoy it, but the thing is i am lithuanian i trying really really hard to speak better english , mind you guys look up on my channel and rate my english skills ? would really appreciate that ...

It's been 7 months for me, I started in December 2015. I have nearly 1,200 subscribers now. Probably would have been more successful had I made more videos more consistently; I've only made 10 so far. I recently started uploading every week, which has been really good for my channel.

I agree that for most people it's a slow climb. Even after you pass each milestone, things don't magically go faster.
I'd say 1200 subscribers in 7 months is pretty successful! I've been at it for 2 months and am just about to hit 100 which I'm quite happy about. Depends, of course, about the genre of video that you create, but 1200 is pretty impressive regardless in that timeframe.

You should post this in a new thread on the channel reviews page! You'll get a lot more feedback that way. :) Your request might get overlooked on this thread.[DOUBLEPOST=1469049136,1469049067][/DOUBLEPOST]

Thanks man, I work hard! I always just wish to do more :D

As someone who started youtube last week, I think it's really good to read things that keep you grounded and things that tell you that it's not a rocket to fame.

Staying focused on creating great content is all that really matter in my eyes. I didn't start youtube to get 'fame', I did it to express myself. That, and I also really like singing. I don't even care if I'm not any good lol

This is great advice, I am someone who is also making videos with my kids on a part time basis. But like anything worth having it takes time and persistence to persevere. Slow progress is better than no progress.

I totally agree with you! We are all different and will grow differently. You have to work on your content and how you promote it.

Hello all ! I just wanted to give some encouragement. I am a new Youtuber as of the end of January of this year. I have posted about 59 videos and I have 904 subscribers. I have worked pretty hard to make sure that I am always trying have great content. For most Youtubers it is a slow and steady race. For some they find success pretty quickly. I say focus on great content, being consistent, and working on being the best you can be in front of the camera. That is all you can do honestly. Remember it won't happen overnight .. BUT if you work hard it WILL happen. How long have you been on YouTube? What is your progress like so far?

Congrats on doing so well in just a few months, that's amazing! You're obviously doing something right, nice one.
I've been doing YouTube since May 2015, but I didn't start my weekly upload schedule until the beginning of 2016. I now have very nearly 700 subscribers. Some weeks are tougher than others, but I've been lucky enough to discover a small number of people lovely enough to come back every single week and that's what makes it worthwhile. At the end of the day, no matter how big a number shows up at my door, I'll always have that.

Almost 6 months. 14 videos, 183 subs 12000 views. I've had 6 videos make it to a website in one way or another, I don't ask for subfor sub, and I don't talk to any channels outside here to keep sub for sub bets and sub and runners away from me
