NecessaryGaming Network

Do you not see how I'm trying to learn everything about this network as I can?
And not in this thread, but I'm doing the same for many other networks.

A contract isn't something you take lightly.

Hey Obsurimity, it appears that NecessaryGaming is a sub-network to Fullscreen. Being a sub-network often means that the sub-network has roughly similar contracts to their parent.
I'm sure if you ask them for a copy of their contract, they'll be more than happy to give you one. Mostly people are concerned with lock-ins and payouts. Fullscreen's base contract is a 70/30% payout with a 2 year lock-in.

Hope that helps.

Wait, it's a two-year lock in? I thought it was only one year! I think I was ripped off. :O

Sorry to object :p

But they quote no payout threshold which isn`t likely for Fullscreen, Although I also noticed their main hub is under Fullscreen. :giggle:

Welp, I disagreed with pretty much everything you said here.
(Didn't even make this thread for myself, I don't want to apply to them.)

Networks typically give exposure by giving your channel shout-outs on their channel, along with other types of promotions they give.

I do want to join a network, but not for the money. You get promotions, licensing, and in a lot of cases resources like free uploadable music. <- Which is a huge reason why I want to join a network, because I can't afford music on my own.

Confused poster, joining a network would be good for a channel even without 1k views a video.

Very few networks actually have legitimate licenses they are just better at protecting you with fair use law. As for promotions yes you can be promoted but with many networks it is very rare to be promoted, its more up to you to do this for yourself unfortunately.

Pretty much.
Although for the rare being promoted part, I'd say that depends on the network, but is definitely more likely to be rare.

Yeah, I'd say its a double edged sword in that smaller networks will promote you more but their promoting will give you less exposure, where as bigger networks you have to get lucky to be promoted but if you do it gains more exposure.

That's exactly the trend!

Here's some info about them:
  • They're under BroadbandTV. I was sent a contract by them, and it was a BroadbandTV contract.
  • The contract term is 5 years. I think this is the only contract they offer anyone.
  • I don't think they have gaming licenses. They were more than willing to answer my emails until I asked about gaming licenses. Every time I asked, they avoided the question.
  • They do offer directorships, which can help you get a bigger audience.
I really wouldn't go with them simply because of the 5 year contract.

Why ripped off? If you were offered only 1 year lock-in instead of 2, i would say you been honored :) its on automatic extension anyway (after that lock-in period) as i understand, unless you want to quit.

So your saying yeousch has over 100k partners because they have over 100k subs ?, NecessaryGaming is a good network just because they have a good amount of subs doesn't mean there bad

Off topic, but you do know it's against our rules for networks (other than Fullscreen) to post here, right? You need to change your name and remove that channel URL.
