NecessaryGaming Network

Welp, I disagreed with pretty much everything you said here.
(Didn't even make this thread for myself, I don't want to apply to them.)

Networks typically give exposure by giving your channel shout-outs on their channel, along with other types of promotions they give.

I do want to join a network, but not for the money. You get promotions, licensing, and in a lot of cases resources like free uploadable music. <- Which is a huge reason why I want to join a network, because I can't afford music on my own.

Confused poster, joining a network would be good for a channel even without 1k views a video.

I await the post in 6 months time, "can I leave a network early".

You're in for an unpleasant awakening I fear.

Life Pro-tip: when getting an offer from a network, read the contract. What type of CPM do they offer? Also, how long is the lock in? If you sign, are you forced to stay with them for three years? Ask them for information. If they refuse to give it to you, it probably isn't a good deal, because they're hiding things from you. imo

You keep telling yourself that.

I'm offering legitimate advice, that has been passed to me from people with much more experience in this field than either of us and tens of thousands of subs. You're free to ignore it but you should understand a network is a legally binding contract and you will suffer for it if you don't understand the gravity of that fact.
Every successful YouTuber I've ever spoken to has invariably said their network didn't do anything for promotion.

I'm surprised by the amount of people that don't read contracts.
Before accepting a contract I think it's better to learn everything you can about the network, (including understanding the contract jargon).
But even if the contract is good, if the research shows they have bad support, or unhappy partners, then that may as well be reasons to avoid.

Believe me, the amount of idiots that have replied to me after I left a comment on RPM's video about their new requirements is beyond a joke. Some person said that if someone has 100,000 subscribers they would have to let them go if the network sucked LOL.

Do you not see how I'm trying to learn everything about this network as I can?
And not in this thread, but I'm doing the same for many other networks.

A contract isn't something you take lightly, you're just assuming I'm oblivious to this.

You've ignored my argument.
Stand by your own views if you want to.

Calling Shane to the floor
Yea, I`m actually not 100% sure but I thought I remembered them as under Viso(BroadBandTV).

What further points towards that is this quote "We do not place an artificial $2 or $3 cap on your earnings the way other networks do. We send out payments monthly regardless of how much you earned so if you only earned $0.01, you’ll still be paid!"
TGN (also under Viso) say that exact thing on their site too.
