NecessaryGaming Network

YTT's Tanager
I recently got a message from NecessaryGaming, basically telling me they'd like me to apply. I hadn't heard of them, so I searched for them on YTTalk, because usually there's a thread or two about each network.
http://www.necessarygaming.com
The stickies that show the lists of network don't even have them added, but I'm guessing it's because they're a smaller network.
They claim they have all necessary gaming licenses to allow monetization for partners.
They also seem to do something called "directorships", where you apply, and they give you exposure. They don't say much else than that.

Does anyone know more about them?
I'm lurking in their forum and not learning much, so I'm probably going to make a thread there was well if they have an open forum.

Well their main channel has roughly 40,000 subscribers which isn't too shabby. They also get roughly 1,000 views a day.

I've never heard of them. D:

A network will not help you get more exposure. You have to do that alone. Also you have less than 1,000 views per video. A network should be the last thing on your mind, just focus on growing your channel.

Yes they can get you more exposure. Putting you on the main channel or promoting you to their following is exposure. Not sure what rock on Youtube you live under...[DOUBLEPOST=1365360791,1365360760][/DOUBLEPOST]
But they have only been around for one year, so they likely have over 40,000 partners. That's not so good. That's like ATV league lol.
Hey, I'm just listing stats. That's all I found on them in my 2 minutes of looking lol

Yeah mine is a guess too. Just thinking that especially on here (network central it seems haha) if folks haven't heard of them they're usually a bit weird.

I've heard of them, yet I don't know much about them. I think they are apart of Maker Studios. Perhaps Shane could shed some light on this.

Welp, I disagreed with pretty much everything you said here.
(Didn't even make this thread for myself, I don't want to apply to them.)

Networks typically give exposure by giving your channel shout-outs on their channel, along with other types of promotions they give.

I do want to join a network, but not for the money. You get promotions, licensing, and in a lot of cases resources like free uploadable music. <- Which is a huge reason why I want to join a network, because I can't afford music on my own.

Confused poster, joining a network would be good for a channel even without 1k views a video.
