My first video was refused monetization

Thanks for your opinion. I appreciate your insight. However, what I wanted to find out was: would a network act as a middle man between me and the video owners? Would the network contact the video owners and make them a monetary offer for me to review their videos? Or would I have to do it myself?

A network won't act as a middleman. If you ever grow to have a million subs, they might give you access their legal department to help gain permission, that but that comes at a very high price (at least $250 per hour for their time). Until then, you have to deal with it on your own. Good luck :)
 
If that is true then I don't understand how some youtubers who use viral videos in their channels (for example Tobuscus' Cute Epic Fail) managed to monetize his videos after joining a network despite YouTube refusing his videos for monetization before that...
 
I appreciate your input, guys... But I'm trying to understand how partnering with a network would benefit me... Would a network be able to automatically monetize all my videos, if I continue to review viral videos like CWF and RWJ ?
