Monetization Trouble

You need to get partnered/join a network otherwise your going to have constant problems with uploading video game content if you want it monetized.
Get partnered, problem solved.

Well there is your answer. Non commercial. You do not have the right to monetize. You can only upload.

Well that's just the thing, they say non-commercial at the beginning but just a few lines later they say you are free to monetize using the youtube partner program. Most companys do this in these types of policies, Blizzard entertainment is much the same way except their "youtube exception clause" is directly after their non-commercial statement. I've used theirs on another channel and was pretty much auto monetized.[DOUBLEPOST=1374822608,1374822412][/DOUBLEPOST]
Perhaps you should email them again, this time highlighting the part regarding YouTube monetisation?

I'm just wondering that if I keep emailing them the same policy over and over after they keep telling me its no good if they'll disable monetization on my account or something, idk if thats a thing they do.

I'm really not sure, I haven't been directly under YouTube before.
If that's a worry that you might have then... I would consider waiting for more knowledgeable people on the forums regarding this topic to answer or just not monetise the video.

Yeah, like I said in the OP I'm more interested in learning why this happened and how to avoid this in the future rather than rushing to get these specific set of videos monetized.

Its possible that it has to do with the game itself. You can monetize Ubisoft games but if they only published the game and the developer owns the rights then you won't be able to monetize it.

I am in the same infinite loop with youtube on this policy. They want more proof, so I send them the information. Not sufficient. So, Ubisoft specifically stating monetization via Youtube is allowed, is not enough proof? I can't ask them for monetization individually, because they specifically created this blanket policy so they didn't have to/won't answer individual users. Really fed up with YT lately.

Yeah, I've run into issues myself lately. I have one vlog, and two WoW videos having monetization issues. The vlog and first WoW video I provided proof (for WoW it included a link to Blizzards video policy, for the vlog, a link to the creative commons license and Kevin MacLeod's royalty free music policy). Both of those are stuck under "monitoring for possible review" now, while the new WoW video is also under review. I've posted dozens of WoW videos in tbe past, and tons of vlogs with music from incompetech.com. it irks me that it's an issue now.

Randomly one of my videos got monetized today(under review since july 7th), it seems like some people who go through monetization requests actually read through things and others are very quick on that deny button. I guess I should be happy one of them got monetized, I had pretty much acknowledged the fact that I wouldn't get them monetized until I join a network.

And again, today on a different Ubisoft video. Provide proof via link to ubisoft's policy/pdf on their official website. Again receive generic, we cannot find sufficient proof that you have authorization. I follow up, again, with an email asking why a blanket policy provided on the publisher's official website, explicitly stating monetization is authorized. Most likely, this question will again go unanswered as it has on my other videos. They are essentially asking for a hand-written authorization, mentioning you by name specifically. Ubi says they don't have time for that, so they proved a blanket statement authorizing everyone, and this is not sufficient enough. Pulling my non-existent hair out over here!!

JamesInDigital, You are having issues with Ubisoft video? I saw on your channel a video for Remember Me. Did you have issues with Capcom? I always run into issues with them.
