Thanks for the list! The Blue Snowball is my personal favorite, because of its quality:price ratio! (*quality to price*... FAIL)[DOUBLEPOST=1406167597,1406167420][/DOUBLEPOST]If anybody uses a Blue Snowball please tell me! I would like to see some more commentaries using a Blue Snowball so I can get an idea of how it sounds with a natural voice, rather than in a review.

:'( My parents wont allow more than 100$ for mic so AT2020 is out of choice. Any good one out there. I have ATR 2500 in my list. Is it worth it. I will be using it for Youtube voice over and nothing more than that!

This is a great thread however the sl150 and sl300 are very commonly used microphones and should definately be added to the list. They are made by Editors Keys

They cost more than At2020 giving similar audio. At2020 is the boss!

I use the Blue Yeti and I love it. The sound quality is superb and is entirely constructed of metal apart from the knobs. It can be unscrewed from it's base and attached to a stand if you wish and the stand it comes with is a great shape to attach a popshield. It has lots of settings to suit the recording environment.

The only downside to the mic is that it picks up vibrations quite a lot. banging on the desk is pretty much the same as banging on the mic itself. If you don't want buy a seperate stand for it just place something soft underneath it to absorb the shock.

That is literally the only gripe I have but the mic is so damn good that gripe is easily overshadowed.

I looked though this thread and so many good mics here. Like the snowball, the yeti, audio-techica of any sort and a few more. But the one mic I was hoping to see just because I use it and wanted to see if others do as well is the MXL 990 XLR mic. I love the little guy it's about 80 to 90 USD on amazon and if you do a little sound editing with it you sound great just like any high end mic.
