Facebook doesn’t play YouTube videos that way because they don’t want people leaving their site.

Does facebook allow links in facebook posts? I don't really use facebook so I have no idea but I thought you could post links in your facebook timelime? Thanks

Yeah, and it gives you a view, but it plays in the Facebook window instead of taking them to the YouTube channel.
