How did he get his channel back? I'm curious...

Anyways, Timothydelaghetto is from the USA, it's easier for him to protect his legal rights since Google is an American company, but I doubt a YouTuber from a small European country could do anything against Google in court...

I'm new to this whole thing. How does a network protect you from having your adsense disabled if you get invalid clicks/bot clicks/flood clicks etc. ?

Because, quite simply, you don't use adsense. Let me put it this way. Let's say tons of people use an adsense. Now, it is better to have a bigger adsense that generates more money. You and I see this, so we start monetizing our stuff on the same adsense. If you and I each make $10 a month, our adsense reports $20 of earnings a month, meaning we'll get paid faster.

Now imagine that is done by 10,000 people. Basically, that's a network. You allow someone with a really big adsense to add your channel to their adsense. And as I already said, the bigger the adsense, and the more regular revenue there is, the less likely one "false" click is to sink the boat. It's still possible for a network to get disabled, but it's about as likely as the sun exploding tomorrow.

There are other benefits, as well as some bad things, but that's the basic idea of how a network works.

And don't worry, this whole "false views" thing won't get your channel taken down! At worst, your adsense would be closed, but the channel would remain. Do you get ads with adsense right now? If you want to monetize gaming videos, I'd recommend joining a network, as they're less likely to get in trouble for these claim ordeals. If you use adsense as a gamer, stop immediately!!! :banghead:

Agreed. People who do it for money don't make it because all they think about is money. People who make it do it because they love to make videos and entertain others :D

Thanks for the explanation. So, to keep safe, I should connect my adsense account to my youtube channel, but not monetize any videos before joining a network... ?

Well he would give all his subbers an update before he would get shut down and would tell them to go to his new channel and yes he would reupload his content which is its important to backup all your vids.
Depending on your channel size I think that youtube will still hear your side of the story. I mean something has to seriouly go wrong for things to end up in court. If things do go that bad youtube wont fight for you no matter where your from. They are like MI6 if you get caught we dont know you type thing.

Thats what I would do have adsense but dont monetize. I actually wait for it anyway because Im not at that point in my youtube journey yet.
