Is it worth it ?

I just looked up "adsense disabled" on YouTube, and to my surprise, there are thousands of videos on this. Thousands of hard working content creators who worked hard to make their videos as interesting as they could, only to have their AdSense accounts disabled without any specific explanation other than the fact that they might present a potential threat for the AdWords advertisers. Some of them had no idea about what had happened, and spoke of how disappointed they were that they had their dreams shattered after working so hard and gaining a good number of subscribers.

So, seriously, is it worth it? Is one's dream of turning online video content creation into their career just a thing of chance? I haven't started my channel yet, but when I do, I really wouldn't want to work hard, spend nights editing videos and writing scripts, only to have Google p**s on my rightly-earned money because some idiotic spambot clicked on my ads fifty times...

If you do YouTube correctly you won't ever have an issue. And if for some reason you get click bombed and you have developed a viewer base then it'd be just as easy to create a new account and say hey guys, someone click bombed me. Come over here to my new channel. I've been YouTubing since 2007 and I have known one person who got Clickbombed but I think there was more to it than that. If you enjoy it do it and if something happens then worry about it and fix it.

Well, if you don't try hard, people won't want to watch your content D: That's the just honest truth. No one likes to watch crappy videos on a website that is for entertainment. And plus, why not just give it a try? You may be the next famous youtuber. Who knows? Good luck, buddy n__n Just try! :D

Im willing to put my time into making videos editing and all that Im not doing tit for money or to be famouse im doing it since I love to see what ive made after finishing all that editing to see that I actully can do something and the views/subs is just an extra awsome thing tat tells me that people enjoy my content and the money is just a token :)

This is more likely to happen when you get very few views, because every invalid click (which is decided by a seemingly random process), the more likely you are to get click-bombed. I'd say to avoid adsense for YouTube unless all the channels put on that adsense get a total of at least 10,000 monetized views a month. If you only get a couple hundred, then yes, it's dangerous, and I'd avoid it. Another strategy is to just join a network, which protects you from this type of thing.

Well said!
I remember when Tiomthydelaghetto was getting a strang fan base and they shut his channel down twice he never gave up now he is one of the top youtubers. Those who do it for the love always tend to succeed. :)
