Is It Too Late To Start On YouTube?

I hear a lot of people saying that it's too late and a lot saying it's not too late.
Have you ever been that kid who just moved to a new school where you didn't know anyone while everybody else has already been friends with each other for a long time while you were seen as the new kid. Was it possible to make friends? Of course it was, it required more effort but at the end of the day you weren't doomed to fail. It's the same with platforms like YouTube.
Unless of course, one day we're going to lose this freedom of broadcasting ourselves which is a dark scenario that should be considered a serious threat.
