Incorrect Sub Count

There is always a small bit of variation over the various ways of counting things (subs, views, etc.) on YouTube. It can be really distracting for channels when we have fairly small counts, but as you grow, you'll notice the number wobbling a lot less, because the variation is really quite small and basically all the counters are best for showing trends on your channel more than fine-tuned, down-to-the-single-moment counts.

I just gained a new sub for the first time in days. Then one hour later I lose 2 at once which has never happened to me before. It could just be bad luck but others have said there is fishy stuff going on with sub counts.
