I'm pretty sure you should have the thumbnails?? Mine were enabled pretty much instantly. Maybe you should email Youtube and ask why you don't have them, no harm in asking

I watched a vid on youtube that when the channel is 30 day active it will show the costum thumbnail button. I thought so to that the button shows instantly but maybe i should email then anyways.
