Make sure that after you sign up, you'll follow the instructions in order to set up the Analytics number on your YouTube channel (that's how you connect it).[DOUBLEPOST=1367409902,1367409872][/DOUBLEPOST]

Where exactly does it let me add a YouTube account, or where does it give the steps to do so? Think I've added it as a site accidently :confused:

I didn't actually know you could use proper analytics for YouTube, I'm pretty terrible at setting it up, how would I add my Youtube channel to it?

I had a bit of trouble aswell, but I just did it. Create an account on:
http://www.google.co.uk/analytics/

Go through the setup to get an Analytics ID, it will be like UA-GFSGASDG-AS
Then go to your YouTube channel, head into Video Manager/Channel Settings/Advanced/ and then paste that code into the Google Analytics ID box
