So, apparently I'm a YouTube partner? Is that really what this means or am I crazy? If I'm a partner why don't I have a cool emblem by my name on YTTalk? How did this happen? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!

everyone is one as long as your account is verified, it does nothing
 
I think it does do something. Though i could be wrong, I heard you can't upload custom thumbnails if you get your half-partner rights revoked.

Yeah, I've never been able to do that until now. There are also some other cool features that I didn't have before.
 
As long as you have monetization enabled, your technically a partner.

You have to sign a contract to become a full partner, so you will know when you are one.
 
This confuses alot of people, you're not alone, but you'd know if you were a partner, there'd be a contract to negotiate :)
