How to grow a large gaming channel.

Well, It would help me grow my channel
It wouldn't, and I would be glad to explain why.
A shoutout on it's own doesn't do anything for a smaller channel, it may have an influx of subscribers immediately, but if the shoutouted person doesn't make video with/live up to the content of whoever shouted him out, people will realise that they subbed for whoever gave the shoutout, and not the actual channel.

Shoutouts are pretty useless, if I were you I'd learn how to use Reddit, that's a great way of getting traffic.

Hi, since you mentioned Reddit, I was wondering about what the best way to use it is? I signed up a couple of days ago, but I wasn't really too sure about it- is it better to post links to videos, or text? And where exactly should you post them to get the most views? Thanks :)

Try searching the forum for "the ultimate reddit guide"
I wrote it, so I wouldn't have to explain basic knowledge all the time :p

I think making good content consitantly should be more rewarding. Most people who put effort into YouTube do not get rewarded. It takes a lot of luck to get big on YouTube especially if you make gaming videos.

This is very true, 80% luck AT LEAST if you want fast exponential growth.

Awesome advice! Will make sure to follow this so we can grow our channel better and get more traffic coming our way

any advice or a forum on how to create good gaming content. i got advice from one of my viewers but i want a youtuber, a person who knows what their doing to give me some tips so i can produce a good quality video that sticks out like you said a gateway video. now i have to admit that last year i quit youtube but i came back to it and i have to say with my gaming pc versus the laptop i got back then my videos are between 720p-1080p, means no fuzzy or laggy videos. so i got viewers because of that but my speech and though process when i record isnt so well. so i dont have much to say in some videos or dont know what im doing in the video game to show to my viewers. so any advice maybe a guide like this one would help a lot to me and others as well.
