How to get: Views & Subs *EASILY EXPLAINED*

Can't believe I didn't think of the Twitter Hashtags lol
Same here. I honestly don't know much about twitter and how all that stuff works. Twitter has to be the most spammy thing I've ever seen. I'm sure I could weed out some of the people who are selling something and it might be a bit better of an experience. That's why I like forums like this one. There are actual conversations going on.

This helped me so much! I've just made a reddit account because of this. Can anyone give me some information on how to use reddit (in regards to showing off my videos) ?? thank you :)

Super simple stuff. Reddit is essentially a giant, decentralised forum with thousands of Subreddits (sub-forums) on a variety of subjects. When someone posts something, other Redditors can upvote (like) or downvote (dislike) it. The posts with the most upvotes go the Reddit's frontpage which is the best chance you've ever got of going truly viral.

However, you can't just go to a sub and post a link to your video or you will be downvoted to hell or banned in most cases. So, say your channel is all about yoga, then you could hang out in /r/yoga and be part of the community. Once you have some karma (upvotes on your submitted links* & comments) then you can possibly submit your own content for feedback from the community.

*you can submit links to a sub, but if your submissions are more than 10% your own content you will be treated like a spammer. Same if you come off the starting blocks posting your own links.

The key thing to remember is that Reddit and its subs are communities and they mostly take a dim view of people posting their own content if they're not going to invest in being part of the communities.
