How do you think about new network

Thought that was you :mstickle:
lol no, I just earn 30% of what the network earns, I'm a community manager.
I contacted both freedom and the CEO, it turns out that it IS a seperate MCN, however since the owner is friends with the CEO of freedom, they are using Freedom's dashboard interfaces and so on. We also have a legal department in Freedom that we can use free of charge to write custom contracts.

Apparently we are working together with Freedom, but it IS an MCN. You scared me for a moment there.
However never have I stated that I was the CEO of ANYTHING except UberDanger inc.

Soooo, on your promo video the guy said "we have the highest of CPMs" what adsales team/platform are you using?

The highest of CPS's is quite an exageration, we don't have an adsales team. The biggest benefit would be that we give everyone a managed channel and a contract they can leave at any time. This misconception that the network is behind the CPM of a channel is ridiculous, it depends on the channel entirely, unless you sell ads specifically for that channel, which most networks don't do for channels with under 7 million views a month.

Sounds like Freedom to me :penguin:

A revshare in return for something which makes no difference to 95% of channels and little difference to the other 5% :D

Well it begs the question, if rev share was the only thing that mattered, why do you think big channels like mine would sign into an 80/20? It's because there's other stuff that matters, like what a network can do for you. Naturally an MCN that just started out won't have the most appealing options, but there are benefits to supporting something from the get go.

Personally I wouldn't join the network, seeing as I have a more attractive contract at Omnia, I have no incentive to join a new MCN, and I don't see why anyone would unless they see the potential of growth. In no way shape or form will a new network be able to offer something a big network does, look at your own subnetwork for example, they can't offer anything that no other network offers.

Well why would you start an MCN with no new. attractive features.
The market is already crowded to the brim with sub-networks that do that..

That's how every MCN starts, didn't you read my previous post? Also I haven't "started" an MCN, I'm just the community manager. I promote them, and get 30% of what they earn, sweet deal.

Networks are only interesting when you are a medium-sized or large channel, other than that it's just not worth it imo.
