Agreed those networks don't have the best reputation going for them especially Machinima (half pay and the need for them to have your channel password) all I can do is give Machinima the finger and go with Curse or as you said Union for Gamers

Everyone dreamed of getting into Machinima a bit ago now everyone is running away from it XD

If any network asks for your password, then obviously don't even talk with them nor even think about partnering with them.

Actually, there was a period of time that Machinima was getting heat for this. I'm not 100% sure, nor do I have proof, but as I recall the issue was related to network wide promotional events and how the network would set up the promotion on your account without your involvement to ensure a static consistent rollout.

I've heard of them changing descriptions. but that can be done in bulk via the CMS, it does not require them to know your passwords..

I hate when people say that nonsense. Unless your music library is of 17th century classical music, recorded at least 90 years ago, the whole concept of "non-copyrighted" just indicates whoever said it has no comprehension of copyright law.
